2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortnening
1 T vinegar
3 T cold water
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour & salt. Cut shortening into flour mixture until pieces are size of small peas. Blend beaten egg, vinegar & water together. Sprinkle dry ingredients with liquid, a little at a time, mixing lightly until dough begins to stick together. Press into ball; divide in half.
