3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses (light)
1 egg, beaten
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Put dry ingredients together, add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Roll into small bars and roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
