2/3 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
4 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
6 oz. pkg chocolate bits

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add oats, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Stir to blend. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Melt chocolate bits with peanut butter in double boiler. Let baked cookies cool slightly, then spread with topping. Refrigerate to harden. Cut into small bars.
