1 lb. beef sirloin or tenderloin
4 Tbsp margarine
4 Tbsp flour
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp catsup
1 can mushrooms
1 1/4 cups (10 oz) beef broth
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

Cut beef into 1/4-inch strips. Combine 1 Tbsp flour and 1/2 tsp salt and coat meat. Brown meat quickly in 2 Tbsp margarine. Add mushrooms, onions, and garlic and cook about 3 minutes.
Remove meat, mushrooms, and onions from pan.
Melt 2 Tbsp butter in pan, then blend in 3 Tbsp flour. Add catsup and beef stock. Cook and stir until thickened. Return meat, mushrooms, and onions to pan. Add sour cream.
Cook slowly until heated through. Do not boil.
Serve over noodles.
