2 cups instant rice
2 tbsp canola oil
1-2 tbsp ground cumin
1-2 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 small can tomato sauce
1 small diced tomato
2-3 cups of water
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in skillet, add rice to it until lightly browned.
Add water, onion, tomato, tomato sauce, cilantro , and seasonings. Cook on medium heat until onion is tender and rice is done. May have to add extra water along the way.
When adding the seasonings start with the little amount first, than add more to your taste.
