1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. old fashioned oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Apple Filling:
8 lg. apples cored, peeled, sliced
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice

Directions:
Directions:
1.Beat sugar and butter
2. Blend into sugar and butter; egg and vanilla
3. Stir in flour, oats,and cinnamon
4.In a separate bowl-- mix apple slices, sugar, starch, cinnamon, and allspice
5. Spoon apple mix over topping
6. Bake 1 hour until brown at 350
