3/4 cup butter
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 egg lightly beaten
1pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese - softened
1 cup powdered sugar
4 cups whipped topping
3 cups cold milk
2 pkgs (3.9 oz each) of instant chocolate pudding

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a bowl, cut the butter into cake mix until crumbly. Add egg and mix well. Press into a greased 9x13 baking dish and bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
2. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Carefully spread over the crust, refrigerate.
3. In a bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes; let stand until slightly thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer. Top with remaining whipped topping and refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting.
4. Cut into squares and serve cold.
