7 pounds sliced cucumbers 1/2 cup of salt 1/2 gallon of vinegar 1 tbsp of celery seed 1 tbsp mixed spice 4 pounds of sugar and 1 or 2 sticks of cinnamon.

Directions:
Directions:
Soak overnight in water to cover with 1/2 cup of lime. Next morning wash in fresh water and let drain for 15 minutes. Then add 1/2 cup of salt and let stand for 3 hours. Then cook in hot vinegar until they are clear about 20 to 25 minutes.. In the 1/2 gallon of vinegar and 4 pounds of sugar , you put in a bag 1 tbsp of celery seed 1 tbsp of mixed spice 1 or 2 sticks of cinnamon Then seal in jars.
