Marinade:
3-4 lb. beef brisket
2 tbs liquid smoke
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp celery seed
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp worchestershire sauce
2 tsp. pepper



Sauce:
3 T. brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 drops tabasco sauce
1 tbs. soy sauce
dash of nutmeg

Continue baking for the last hour.

It melts in your mouth!

Marinate brisket overnight with marinade ingredients. Cover tightly and bake of 300 degrees for 5 to 5 1/2 hours. Baste often. (I use the baking bags to eliminate covering tightly and basting.) Pour the sauce over the brisket one hour before the brisket is done. I usually slice the brisket with an electric knife before putting the sauce on.

Continue baking for the final hour.
