1 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well: butter, egg, sugar, and vanilla.
Then add: baking powder, salt, and flour.
Mix and kneed into a soft dough.
Bake @ 350 for 10 min.

These are the cookies that my mom used to bake every Christmas and cut out with Holiday cookie cutters. Do you remember sitting around the table in our garage and frosting them all together? Mine always had mounds of frosting and sprinkles. Good times!
