2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 c shortening
1 egg (with enough milk to make 2/3 c.)
2 handfuls cornflades
1 tsp vanilla
8 to 10 apples
1 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix forst 4 ingredients, including milk and egg, as for pie crust. Roll 1/2 of the dough to fill 10 1/2x15 1/2" cookie sheet. Sprinkle bottom crust with crushed cornflakes. peel and slice apples and place over crust and cornflakes. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, dot with butter. Roll other half of dough and place on top. Pinch edges. Bake at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes. While warm you can frost with water, powdered sugar, and vanilla mixture.

The crust can be used as a pie crust too. It is easy to work with. Kristie makes this alot when she comes to visit us. She doesn't frost it cause she doesn't have time.....I eat it before she has a chance.
