Directions:
Directions:
Make a lite syrup with 1 cup sugar and 3 cups of water. Boil sugar and water til sugar is dissolved. Pack berries in jar within 1/2" from the top. Pour syrup to 1 1/2" from the top. Put covers on. Water bath 20 minutes.

"Mother always had sauce in her cellar. She would put Juneberries up too. Depending on the year, some years she would put up 200 quarts. We all picked berries. Same as the Wenstads. Everyone would pick berries!" Clyde
