Fried Chicken (In Season) the fatest chicken Mother had. Otherwise she roasted them after the chickens got so old. Potatoes and gravy, always macaroni and cheese for a side dish because we all liked it. And red jello. Sometimes we had bananas in it, sometimes we had apples whatever was in season. That was a meal fit for a King. Call Alfred and he would tell you the same thing! Grandma Satrang could rub 2 pieces of bread together and have a good meal!
