24 oz. pkg. frozen hash browns
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
16 oz. sour cream
2 c. grated cheddar-jack cheese

TOPPING
1/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes OR bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and toss topping ingredients and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients. Put in 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with topping. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
