1 lb ground beef sirloin
1 1/2 slices soft bread torn into pieces soak in 1/2 cup milk
1 egg beaten
Minced onion to taste
Minced green pepper to taste
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp each pepper, dry mustard, celery salt, garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Ketchup

Directions:

Heat oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients except ketchup thoroughly. Shape into a loaf and place into a 13X9 baking pan, spread the top with ketchup and bake 1 hour.

My first meatloaf was all meat, then I got this recipe. It makes all the difference when you add bread. I also like to us the Italian bread crumbs, it tastes like a giant meatball.
