1 stick margarine
1 can or 1 1/2 pts fresh berries or fruit
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon (best w/peaches & apples)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine in a 9x9 baking pan. Add fruit and spread evenly in pan. Mix flour, the 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt and milk. (add cinnamon if you choose). Pour evenly over fruit. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over batter and bake 350F until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
