Tomatoes (fresh from the garden)
2-4 small cans tomato paste (depending on how big of a batch)
Sugar (couple of tablespoons to a 1/4 cup)
olive oil (couple of tablespoons)
garlic
salt and pepper
oregano
parsley
Italian seasoning

This is a method recipe (no exact amounts-all to taste)

Boil a pot of water, dunk tomatoes until the skin loosens. Peel skin off, wedge tomatoes and squeeze all juice and seeds from tomatoes (over an ice cream bucket). Take the remaining tomato and puree in a food processor or blender. Place tomato in a Dutch oven. For a half pot use two cans of tomato paste, for a fuller pot, 4 cans. Add the remaining ingredients to taste. Cook for several hours, stirring occasionally. Freezes well.
