1 cup butter
1 3/8 cup almond paste
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and almond paste. Beat in eggs and sugar; stir in flour and salt. Pour into prepared 9 x 13 baking dish (dough will be thick). Sprinkle with sliced almonds; pat lightly to press into surface.

Bake at 300 for 40 minutes.

Store refrigerated.
