1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 box yellow cake mix
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup strong-brewed coffee
1/3 cup oil
2 tablespoons orange peel
1 tablespoon lemon peel
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.

Grease and flour 13 x 9 baking pan. Sprinkle pan with almonds.

In bowl, combine cake mix, cinnamon, ginger, honey, coffee, oil, orange peel, lemon peel and egg. Beat until well blended. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 55 minutes (or 70 minutes if using bundt pan).

Cool upright in pan 5 minutes, then invert to serving plate.
