8 Tablespoons Butter, Divided
1 Quart Half & Half
2 Cups Grated American Cheese
2 Cups Chicken Broth, Seasoned to taste
1/2 Cup Grated Carrots
8 Tablespoons Flour
1/2 Cup Celery, Chopped
1/2 Cup Green Peppers, Chopped
1/2 Cup Onion Choppsed

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and add flour; blend. Blend in Half & Half and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add cheese. Heat and keep warm. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add celery, green pepper, onions and carrots; cook until transparent. Add chicken broth and mix well. Combine vegetables with other mixture. Season with pepper and salt. DO NOT BOIL!!!!!
