1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 package chocolate chips
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Beat cream cheese with butter, egg, and sugar.

Melt 1 cup of chips; stir into batter; stir in flour, baking soda and nuts, along with remaining chocolate chips.

Drop by tablespoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 10-12 minutes.
