Almond Streusel Cake Recipe

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon orange peel

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon orange peel
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup orange juice

1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons orange juice

Preheat oven to 350. Grease bundt pan.

In medium bow, mix together streusel ingredients.

For cake: in bowl, beat together butter and sugar; add eggs; beat in orange peel and vanilla.

In bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Beat flour mixture and orange juice into egg mixture.

Spoon 1/2 batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of streusel. Top with remaining batter and streusel.

Bake 30-35 minutes.

Prepare glaze; glaze cake with cooled completely.
