1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Frosting:
2 c. powdered sugar
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp. maplenut flavoring
cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, soda, sour cream, flour and nuts.

Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

Frosting:

Mix the powdered sugar, butter and maplenut flavoring together with cream to make frosting. Frost the cookies while still warm.
