2 cups flour
3/4 cups crisco
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco. Gradually add sugar and cream. Add egg and molasses and beat until smooth. Sift flour, soda, and spices into creamed mixture and stir thoroughly. Drop by teaspoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle top with white sugar or ginger sugar if you like a lot of ginger. Bake at 350 for 13-15 mins.
