1 stick butter
1 lb. box brown sugar
1 16oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 16oz. can applesauce
1 box raisins
8 ozs.dates
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup black walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 10 ingredients together and bring to a slow boil. Cook for about 5 mins. Let cool. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 12" tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 325 for 1 1/2-2 hrs.
