1 Cup soft margarine
1 3 oz. package cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
candied cheeries & pecans for top of cookie

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 325
Cream butter & cream cheese slowly add sugar beating until fluffy. Beat in egg yolk add flour & vanilla mix well. Chill dough at least 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake 8-10 minutes. Place on greased cookie sheet press cherry half or pecan into each cookie. Do not overcook. The cookie should not be brown on the top.

I always make these at Christmas. When my son (Anthony) was young I always had to double the recipe because he would eat so many. This was the only cookie he ever liked.
