1 cup soft shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon & 2 tsp. sugar to roll the cookies in before baking

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, 1/2 cup sugar & eggs. Sift flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Chill. Rolled chilled mixture into balls using a tablespoon and roll into mixtue of cinnamon and sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes @ 350 or until lightly browned.
