1 package lentils- washed
5 or more cups of water
2 16 oz cans of cut-up tomatoes
2 bay leaves
1 T salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 lb Kielbasa- sliced
1 cup chopped carrots
1 medium onion- chopped
1 cup chopped celery

Directions:

Heat lentils in water - add tomatoes, bay leaves, salt, and pepper-
Heat to boiling-
Reduce heat and add the meat and veggies-
Simmmer an hour or more until veggies are
tender-
Remove bay leaves-

Some hard rolls are good to serve with this soup- this soup will keep several days and is good re-heated- you may have to add some more water-
