3-4 pounds salad potatoes - boiled, peeled, and sliced
1 small onion - finely diced
5 slices of bacon - fried and cut into small pieces

Bring items below to a boil then thicken with the cornstarch
and flour mixed with cold water. Let boil until clear and glossy.
Then pour this hot liquid over potatoes.

1/2 C. vinegar 1 tsp. salt
1 C. water 1/8 tsp. pepper
1 C. Sugar

1 T. cornstarch and 1 T. flour mixed together with cold water

Boil potatoes - slice - set aside.

Save bacon grease and add vinegar, water, sugar, salt, pepper.

mom did not. I think Aunt Edna sometimes added boiled eggs,
