1 medium head cabbage, shredded
2 c. celery, diced
2 carrots, shredded
1 onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 c. white vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cabbage and salt well and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Combine sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is melted. Cool. Pour cooled vinegar syrup over vegetables, including cabbage, and mix well. Refrigerate a week for optimum flavor. Stores well in refrigerator for 3-4 weeks.
