2 T. unsalted butter
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, halved
3 c. 1/2 in. cubed French bread
ground pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in sauce pan. Remove from heat and let cool. Toss all ingredients with bread. Bake on baking sheet at 350 until golden, shaking baking sheet once or twice.
Use good quality French baguette, no sugar because it burns easily and no preservatives, leaves an after taste.
