Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter, melted
6 tbsp. corn syrup
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 lb. powdered sugar
3 (10 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, drained
2 lb. dipping chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Knead into a dough. Form into balls with a cherry wrapped in the middle. The balls should be approximately the size of walnuts. Place balls in the freezer to chill. In a double boiler, melt chocolate. Dip the cooled balls in the chocolate and let cool on parchment paper.

Personal Notes:
It takes a few weeks for the sugar dough to react with the maraschino cherry to form a juicy center. Plan on making these ahead of time so they have ample time to ripen. Also, I like to use white and chocolate almond bark for dipping. You may need to double dip if your first dipping cracks at all.
