Fairy Cake Recipe

5 egg yolks
7 T cold water
1 1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 C flour
1 t. baking powder
5 egg whites
1 t. cream of tartar

Beat egg yolks and cold water with mixer for 5 minutes. Add
sugar and beat 5 minutes more. Blend flour and baking powder.
Fold in gently. Separately, beat egg whites with cream of tartar.
Fold in to batter last. Put in ungreased 13x9 pan and bake at
325 for 45 minutes. Turn pan upside down to cool. Serve with
strawberries or peaches and whipped cream!!!
