1 lb. baby carrots
2 tbsp. butter, diced
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
pinch of salt
pinch of ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place carrots in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to a high simmer. Cook for 20 minutes. Drain carrots. Put carrots back on stove and reduce heat to lowest setting. Stir in butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper into saucepan. Cook 3-5 minutes more.
