1 C flour
1 C sugar
1/4 t. salt
2 t. baking powder
3/4 C milk
1 t. vanilla
3/4 stick melted margarine
2 1/2 C fruit (peaches, cherries, or blueberries)

Using square baking dish (ungreased), mix all dry ingredients in
the dish with a fork. Measure milk and add vanilla to the milk.
Pour this mix into the dry ingredients and stir well with a fork. (Be
sure to get the corners.) Pour the melted margarine over the
batter. Spread the fruit evenly on top of all. Bake at 350 for 45
minutes to 1 hr. (The batter will bake to the top and the fruit will
go to the bottom. YUMMY)
