2 lbs. frozen hash brown potatoes defrosted
1 cup or less chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt sour cream
1 stick of butter or margarine, melted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tsp salt
Topping: 1 cup corn flakes or cracker crumbs
1/4 cup margarine melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix soup, sour cream, butter, cheese & salt in a large bowl. Add onions and potatoes and mix well. Spread into a buttered 9x13 inch pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
