Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 can of cream or whole kernel (drained) corn
1 egg,beaten
pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 to 3/4 cup of flour, amount depending upon
consistency desired--(not thick but not runny either)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the ingredients together and drop into hot shortening or into deep fat fryer. When fritters are full of bubbles and lightly browned underneath turn. Lightly brown on other side. Serve hot
