3 large Vadalia onions - sliced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
4 cups water
6 beef bouillon cups
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
dash of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large frying pan, cook onions in butter until golden. Place the onion mixture in your slow cooker.
Add water, bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Serve with a slice of toasted French bread and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese (if desired).
