Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken*
2 Carrots, sliced
1 Onion, diced
1 Tbsp. Onion Soup Mix
2-3 Tbsp. Chicken Soup Base**

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot put the chicken in and cover with water. Add carrots, onion, soup mix and soup base. Cover and simmer till chicken is done. Remove chicken from stock, cool and bone. Bring stock to a boil and add noodles (homemade are best--for this I use 2 batches, see recipe under pasta). When stock starts to boil add boned chicken and cook till noodles are done.
*You can substitute whole chicken with a large package of thighs and a couple of chicken breasts.
**For chicken soup base I use Farmer Brothers it's the best.
