"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and place rack in center
Spray oblong pyrex dish with veg oil
Layer: pineapple, berries or peaches, sprinkle 4 T brown sugar, Top these ingredients with dry cake mix, then chooped pecans and 5 T. brown sugar. Drizzle top with melted butter.
Bake 15 mins. Using end of long handled spoon, make holes in the batter every 4 inches, so juices from pineapple and fruit will rise through the cake mix. Continue baking for about 30 mins. more. Tent with foil is topping browns too quickly. Delicious served warm with ice cream.
