4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced in half or whole
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 large package strawberry Jello mix
fresh whipped cream
1 prepared pie crust

Cook over medium heat the water, sugar, and cornstarch until
mixture boils and thickens. Add package of strawberry jello and
stir. Put berries in a baked pie shell and pour hot mixture over
berries. Refrigerate until pie sets. Serve with fresh whipped
