1 lb Italian sausage
1 cup chopped onion
2 or more garlic cloves minced
5 cups beeb broth (3 cans)
1 15oz can chopped tomatoes
1 8 oz can tomato sauc1 cup sliced carrots
1 1/2 cups sliced zucchini
8 oz tortellini any filling
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 cup red wine
1/4 -1/2 head cabbage chopped

Crumble sauage and brown. Reserve 1 tbsp fat, brown onion and garlic in fat until soft. Add broth, sauage,wine,tomateos, tomato sauce and carrots. Bring to boil and simmer covered 30 minutes. Stir in tortellini, simmer till done. Add zucchini and cook until tender, adjust seasoning. You can add canned beans and a dash of cayenne if desired.
