1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef, lean
1 Med Onion, chopped
1 C Carrots, sliced
1 C Celeriy, sliced
1 C Cabbage, sliced
1 6oz Can Tomato paste
2 t Worcestershire sauce
2 C Beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet brown hamburger and drain thoroughly.

Add onions, carrots, celery and cabbage.

Combine tomato paste, worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Add to pot with hamburger and stir to blend.

Place entrie mixture into the crock pot.

Cover and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or high heat for 3 to 4 hours.

NOTE: This is an updated version of an old chuckwagon recipe. They would use finely diced beef and the vegtalbes and let them cook all day at roundup time.
