1 C Flour
1/2 t Garlic powder
3 T Oil
1 T Lemon Pepper seasoning.
1 Chicken cut in eight pieces
1 C Chicken broth

Dumplings
Bisquick mix; follow directions

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in plastic bag, place chicken in bag (two pieces at a time) and shake to coat all pieces. Set aside.

Heat oil in deep frying pan or electric skillet. When oil is hot, check by shaking a drop of water over the skillet, when it bounces it's ready.

Place chicken pieces in the oil and cook until browned on all sides, about 3 minutes per side.

Pour 1/2 cup chicken broth into pan and cover. Check the pan often and add broth as needed. Cook for approximately 20 minutes or until chicken is done, check with thermometer to 160.

At this time add the remaining chicken stock and add the dumpling mix by the spoon fulls over the chicken. Then cook for ten minutes uncovered and ten minutes covered. Make sure there is at least 1/2 inch of stock in the pot at this time.
