4 T. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c, berries and juice
1/4 tsp. almond extract
red food coloring

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add berries, juice and extract. Cook until thick. Stir constantly.

I remember when I had the chicken pox, I was about 6 years old, Mom asked me if I wanted something to eat and I told her that cherry pie filling sounded really good. She made it for me!
