Ingredients:  
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons shortening
3 egg whites or 2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 quart raspberries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Put in a greased baking pan. Sprinkle the quart of raspberries on top of the batter. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar on top. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
