1 c. butter (no substitute) softened
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. baking cocoa
4 eggs


Brown Butter Frosting

c. butter (no substitute)
4 c. confectioners sugar
2 tsp. half & half cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Glaze
1 sq. (1 oz) unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp. butter (no substitute)

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Spread into an ungreased 13x9x2 in. baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not over bake). Cool on wire rack.
For frosting, in a heavy saucepan, cook and stir butter over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Pour into a mixing bowl; beat in the confectioners sugar, cream and vanilla.
Frost the cool brownies. For glaze, melt the chocolate and butter, drizzle over the frosting.
Cut into bars.
