Ingredients:  
1 c plain flour
1 c yellow corn meal
1/4 c sugar
4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 c milk
1/4 c oil or melted shortening

Directions:
Directions:
mix dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients, then mix wet and dry together. place in greased 9x9x2 pan or square pan, or muffin tin. Bake 20-25 minutes in preheated 400 oven. Serve hot with butter.
