6 cups sugar
4 cups cider vinegar
1/2 cup canning or pickling salt
1 teas Turmeric
1 teas Mustard seed
Boil all together and set aside to cool (Needs to remain warm)

In a gallon jar, pack sliced cucumbers and onions, packing the jar tight. Pour warm brine over cucs and put lid on. Put in Refrigerator.
