1 C. Sugar 1/2 t. Cream of Tartar 1/4 t. Salt 2 Unbeaten Egg Whites 1 t. Vanilla
Combine ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler. Use mixer to stir. Beat briskly for 8 minutes or until it is fluffy and holds its shape. Remove and add vanilla. Enough icing for 2 9" layer cakes.
